This August the Fundacion Alzheimer Aruba (F.A.A.) is organizing a workshop of three segments to train the participants on various fronts of how to implement a lost (Alzheimer’s) person search and rescue response.
In some cases people with Alzheimer’s Disease can leave their place of care and start wandering. For some these people this concludes in not knowing on how to return to home and get lost. Some of these cases have ended up in fatalities whilst others were identified in a timely fashion and their care was increased.
