Professor, Dr. Robert Winter
Professor Dr. Robert Winter is currently Full Professor and Head of the Art Therapy Program at LR University in North Carolina (USA).
He completed terminal degrees from Universities in France, Argentina, and the United States (Université Européenne of Paris, National University of Cordoba, (Argentina) and University of North Carolina (USA).
Dr. Winter has been guest lecturer and professor at the Universities of Georgetown (Washington DC), Finlandia (Michigan), University of North Carolina (Charlotte), Université Européenne of Paris (France), University of Seville (Spain), and more recently, through the University of Malaga, at the Neuropsychiatric Center of the Hospitalarian Sisters in Malaga, Spain.
In 1995 the European University of Paris, France, awarded him an Honorary Doctorate for his work and research.
Dr. Winter has his own practice as an Art Therapist in Hickory, NC, and associated therapist with Crossroads Clinic, Women in Crisis and the Hickory Police Department.
Dr. Winter is also a consultant for Catawba County Mental Health Services, Children’s Neuro-therapy Services, Adolescents and Children in Therapy, and Adult Day Services for the Aging (Alzheimer’s Unit) all in North Carolina.
